Lee, I love that each person's small part can make a difference. I write willing to be invisible; if and when it resonates with another then I consider that to be the Holy Spirit's genius use of all things! Thanks for popping in periodically. When anyone leaves a comment I go back and read the post to find out what they read. As I did this today two lines stood out to me,

"With the vision comes the desire to carve out the space for incubating clearer vision. It is the vision that calls for the boundaries."

I have been feeling His draw toward re-establishing boundaries (it is so easy to lose the plum line)and now I see why. "Vision" is calling! It needs space to unfold so it can spread its wings. I've been feeling a little vague and hazy, yet restless and aware of a need to enter a "new" private space with the Lord. Now I realize there is vision He wants to define. He wants to clarify the reason for the need I am feeling. Vision is calling for a boundary. With it will come the energy and passion to fight for the space and time.

Thanks, Lee, for causing me to re-visit this post!

Susan - I really love this today, in the season I'm in. Thank you again for expressing the truth as you do.

"A boundary does not limit size or space; it actually creates the space for privacy in Christ. Privacy with Him expands my capacity for others. He transforms self-focus into generosity."

Susan, I just re-found your blog and read this. I love this paradigm shift. Its often tempting to feel guilty for setting boundaries, but this puts it clearly in the right perspective. I'm actually creating space, not limiting it, love it!

Yep, that's what I needed, mom. Especially the part about barriers, though that part has less to do with our conversation earlier this week. I see areas in my life recently where I have erected so many barriers because of my inability to have established clear enough boundaries. I love the language of your heart, mom, and consider myself blessed to have a mother who truly seeks...and finds. Thanks for the spiritual vitamins!
