Again, I see, I have a choice
It’s up to me, I choose the voice
One voice says, “There’s no way out.”
Endorsing weakness, feeding doubt
It says to me, “Just take a look…
…you’re predictable as a much read book”
It taunts me with my deepest fears
Twists the truth, heckles and jeers
This voice is cruel and has no end
It lies to me, becomes my sin

Another voice says, “Choose your view
release the fear, love will ensue”
It says, “Yes, please, take a look…
…at who you are inside my book.”
It lifts me out of dark despair
Inflames the truth with holy flair
This voice is kind and has no end.
Instructing me not to defend

So there is a choice, yet none at all
Sweetness of one turns the other to gall
When I choose Loves voice in me,
I easily merge with Love by degrees
And when I see all that Love sees,
It’s easy to live, to love and to be
Perspective is a heart of change
And all of life is re-arranged
