Keeping a journal means different things to different people.  For me, it’s communing with my heart in written dialogue with the Lord.  Journalizing is the exercise of working out of what God has already worked in.  The Lord reveals the thoughts that forge my actions, subdues my soul, and revives my heart as we sit together with pen and paper.  I write down what I hear Him speaking within me and begin to comprehend His life as my very own.  I experience guidance, comfort, admonishment, tutelage, and affirmation as He consistently interprets His word into my daily experience.
